Student Wellbeing

Student Wellbeing

At St Padre Pio Catholic Primary School, student wellbeing is central to the life of our school. In alignment with the approach of the Melbourne Archdiocese of Catholic Schools (MACS), we believe that students learn best when they feel safe, supported and connected within a caring community.

Our wellbeing programs promote respectful relationships, positive behaviour and a strong sense of belonging. We work closely with students, families and staff to create a learning environment where every child is known, valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.

Through daily classroom practices and whole-school initiatives, we support students to develop important life skills such as resilience, empathy, self-awareness and responsible decision-making. Students are encouraged to build positive friendships, care for others and contribute to the wellbeing of our school community.

Guided by our Catholic faith and Gospel values, we nurture the whole child – spiritually, emotionally, socially and academically. Our approach helps students grow in confidence and develop the skills they need to thrive both at school and beyond.

At St Padre Pio, we are committed to working in partnership with families to support the wellbeing of every student and foster a safe, inclusive and supportive school environment.
