Welcome to St Padre Pio Catholic Primary School

Welcome to St Padre Pio Catholic Primary School, Thornhill Park — a place where faith, learning and community come together to nurture the hearts and minds of our students. Inspired by the legacy of St Padre Pio, we foster a love of learning, kindness and spiritual reflection in a safe and inclusive environment.

It is a privilege to serve as Foundation Principal as we welcome our first students and families and begin building our vibrant school community. At St Padre Pio, every child is known, valued and supported to grow academically, personally and spiritually. Guided by our Catholic values, we encourage our students to become compassionate, resilient and faith-filled individuals who contribute positively to the world around them.

I warmly invite you to discover the spirit of St Padre Pio Catholic Primary School and look forward to partnering with you in your child’s learning journey. In St Padre Pio’s name, let us “Pray, Hope and Thrive Together.”

With God’s blessings, Daniel Bermingham, Foundation Principal.

Acknowledgment of Country

In recognition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people’s spiritual and cultural connection to country, we acknowledge the traditional custodians of the Kulin Nations. We acknowledge the continued care of the lands and waterways over generations and celebrate the continuation of a living culture that has a unique role in this region. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging, for they hold the memories, traditions, culture and hopes of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples across the nation and hope they will walk with us on our journey. We also extend that respect to all staff, students and families within the Archdiocese of Melbourne.
